Photo enthusiasts were treated to a mega visual night with the world’s best F1 photographer, Darren Heath from the UK. In the dark auditorium of the Singapore Science Centre, participants sat mesemrised (looking at the biggest screen in Singapore at 90 meters width) by the thrills and spills of F1 racing in photos as Darren was up close and personal with his track experiences. The event was organised by the Singapore Science Centre as part of their Science of F1 exhibition to celebrate the SG GP Season in 2009.

18 special photo enthusiasts toured with the world’s best F1 photographer, Darren Heath, around the Singapore track on the day before Practice Day of the Singtel Formula One Grand Prix. With the safety car was whizzing by with a loud V8 roar, guests of the National Library Board were given tips right on the track by Darren. Many brought their professional photographic gear and some lenses were impressive and packed a punch. A very special event that left all with a warm feeling and a different perspective of a Formula One race.

		Top Gear November 2009 Issue Cheryl Tay does a one-on-one with Darren on track when he was in Singapore for the 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX on September 2009. Darren shared the preparation, challenges and clockwork schedule he keeps with every F1 race in the world.
		Fastlane Issue 11 Cheryl Tay visits the Singapore Science Centre’s Science of F1 exhibition in September 2009 and captures Darren’s never seen before photos of the inaugural 2008 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. A collection of 15 images were on view for the 3 month long exhibition.
		The New Paper Cheryl Tay tags along with Darren on track to find out a Day in the Life of an F1 Photographer. In this visual double-page spread, readers are given an insider’s view of what Darren does hour by hour at the tracks.
